TSRA help to fund this access by donating money from the River Trails Program Grant. It was built by Harpeth River State Parks and is on Harpeth River State Park land.

Harris Street Canoe Access
description
RIVER MILE: 22.8  Located on Harpeth River State Park land,.  TSRA funded the gravel needed for this location.




Most state park boat rental operations will open this summer. Hours and operating procedures will vary by park. Each park will implement additional safety and sanitation protocols to protect park staff and visitors and encourage social distancing. All boaters are encouraged to bring their own life jacket or approved personal floatation device (PFD).

Access points are at the U.S. Hwy. 100 Bridge, 
the 1862 Newsom's Mill ruins, 
and at the McCrory Lane Bridge at Hidden Lake. 

Downstream, 

the Narrows of the Harpeth 

provides 

  • an upstream access,
  • a downstream access, 
  • the Bell's Bend five mile float,
  • a unique 1/4 mile portage.
