As your feet shuffle along centuries-worn pathways, 

a landscape of mountain ridges, hill towns, and fertile valleys 
unfolds in Umbria Region of Italy... 

exposing bit by bit, 
step by step,...

the abundance of great places, spaces, food and faces !!!

Regardless of where we start, 

the excursion, or the destination 

(a neighborhood park or another continent)... 

the kernel seed of power, 

wonder and potential,... 

is within the simple, bold, purposeful act 

of setting upon a journey 

into the (even somewhat) unknown.

May each of us ease from our 
TV, computer and smart-phone screens, 
and shake loose a bit of our everyday routines that satiate and numb. 

Perhaps, get out and meet people
 face to face, ear to ear. 
Move around...
 share eye contact and salutations of respect 
- simply acknowledge each other,

It's a simple formula, 
but we get swamped 
and our social spectrum and skills decay, 
and whither. 

Soon we barely even notice others in our daily life paths 
- an apathy or overwhelmed nature seems to sneak in on us ? !!! 

So once in a while, 
let's unplug, 
and see and hear each other 
in our passing and shuffling ?!!!
