"Rocketman" - Rising Beyond Broken Beings in Our Life
Since experiencing the movie "Rocketman" about the life of performer Elton John, I've been considering how mashed-up broken Beings can make a child's life... and anyone's life. Simply for lack of what is so easily provided... nurturing, hugs, care, respect, affection... it's just messed up to see the side-effects of broken Beings as parents...
I've been evolving my personal visualization or meditation (whatever)... coping with the truth that broken Beings exist -- and they are Broken if they do not hear or ignore a child cry; broken if they do not seek to provide comfort to the child; they deny the laws of nature and basic wholeness in acts of neglect, manipulation, and abuse.
May the symbolic child Reginald (Elton John) everywhere learn and know the truth about the source of broken -- it is not theirs to own or remain a victim. May each find their own center, security, peace, and love - to be healed by their own power, and by the uplifting compassionate, nurturing, healing interactions with capable and whole Beings.
I envision a hug and simple nurturing like a flower petal falling gently from the sky. Falling on every mountain and valley, reaching every human, animal, plant... gently, organically. Seeing a little bit of light bounce and spread as the petal lands. A growing sense of peace, comfort, love, and strength manifesting in Reginald(s) everywhere... in all Beings.
That's the idea. So enjoy a few petals right now ;-)
